Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!! I must say today was an Amazing Thanksgiving, I missed a lot of my family but I have all of them in my heart always! This morning was chaotic because there is always so many things to do and not enough time to do it in. . . But for the most part I must say I have a wonderful family and I'm so very grateful for everything I have been blessed with in life. My parents opened their home to us all and we each brought a dish of some kind there was a beautiful spread of food.

I got the opportunity to meet my newest niece Aubree (Princess Aubree, I call her). She is so precious  and what a cutie pie I fell in love INSTANTLY! My sister in law and Brother drove from Georgia to make it for the holiday, and I'm glad they did!

I got to video chat with family that is far and I was able to spend time with family that's close. And in the spirit of family and being thankful here are a few words I'd like to share with everyone tonight........

Life has an expiration yet our legacy we leave.
They'll grow in time like flowers, so water every seed.
Don't expect everything to happen without an effort made.
Tell your family that you love them and never let it fade.
I'm thankful for you all today and with each one that will pass.
So live each day and love each other as if today will be your last.

So with that HAPPY HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE And as I always say Stay Blessed and Inspired! Xoxoxo

Getting the Swing of Things...

          Hey everyone!  Hope you are all doing well, thank you for catching up with me once again!  So basically, last blog post I informed you guys about the "organizer" spreadsheet I created.  It's meant to help keep myself up to date with all things house, kids, food, husband and myself related HAHA!  I also mentioned the two other resources I use for my chores list and Dinner planning.                   I must say I have been even more organized than I had even planned.  I was able to effortlessly have dinner ready when I wanted, the house stayed clean(for the most part considering I have a "make mess" programmed 2-year old), I was even able to add-in unplanned visits to the hospital for my grandma and my brother and aunt coming from out of town to stay at my parents as well.  I'd say for the first week this was a hit!           In all of our efforts as parents I feel that we sometimes skimp out on ourselves.  I cannot believe how much I just fluff

The first of many. . .

Hey everyone and welcome to my blog where I will write about anything and everything that I can. I believe that I can change the world one WORD at a time but I've gotta start somewhere. Please do not expect perfect grammar or punctuation all of the time lol I just enjoy writing in the moment and just know I'll try my best. Today was a long day. It started off at work where I just was so tired but I knew I had a lot to do so there was no slacking lol. Then after I got out I went straight to pick up my son from my sister in law who literally saved the day by filling in last minute for the sitter(my mother in law) who is very sick. Mothers really don't get enough credit ya know! So before I forget GO HUG YOUR MOM AND TELL HER YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE HER!!! I say this because I truly live for my son and when I pick him up from the sitter he does NOT want me lol it breaks my heart but I know (or at least I tell myself) he just doesn't want the fun to end by leaving.  Anywa

Contest? As Sweet as Apple Pie!

Hello everyone, first lets take a moment to reflect on those who have recently passed away... May God bless your family and friends with peace, love and strength. Thank you so very much for joining me on my blog tonight. I just want to share a challenge... I have always loved to cook, mostly Italian and Puerto Rican food (considering those are my nationalities) but the last few years I have really tried to expand my kitchen. I've tried different foods with pretty great success! Nothing has been too scary for me to try and whip up, maybe not all have been the greatest but hey, always fun trying lol. I recently discovered the joys of baking, and let me just say there is NOTHING like made from scratch baked goods or foods. I have made the following items so far from scratch....  Biscotti, pie crust for pumpkin and apple pie, pizza dough, PASTA noodles(which are like ribbons of silk when made at home, soooooo very much better than store bought) coffee cake, banana nut muffins, rice pud
