Hey everyone first lets start off by taking a moment to remember those who have recently passed away and ask God to send the family and friends strength, love and peace. Thank you all very much for checking out my blog! Today's post is to give a huge shout out to my beautiful niece Asia and my sweet sister in law Jennifer today (meaning December 11thmeven though I am posting this after midnight, my sincere apologies)  is both of their birthdays!!!  To my dear niece Asia, I truly pray for nothing but love and blessings to come your way, you will never know just how much you mean to me! I love you, you have so much potential never sell yourself short. Life will give you what you put into it, you are young and and smart and blessed with beauty inside and out. Remember that you can do anything you set your heart and mind to with hard work, dedication and determination. I am very lucky to have you in my family and hope we can start seeing more of eachother, you all mean so much to me. O

Hello everyone, first lets take a moment to reflect on those who have recently passed away... May God bless your family and friends with peace, love and strength. Thank you so very much for joining me on my blog tonight. I just want to share a challenge... I have always loved to cook, mostly Italian and Puerto Rican food (considering those are my nationalities) but the last few years I have really tried to expand my kitchen. I've tried different foods with pretty great success! Nothing has been too scary for me to try and whip up, maybe not all have been the greatest but hey, always fun trying lol. I recently discovered the joys of baking, and let me just say there is NOTHING like made from scratch baked goods or foods. I have made the following items so far from scratch....  Biscotti, pie crust for pumpkin and apple pie, pizza dough, PASTA noodles(which are like ribbons of silk when made at home, soooooo very much better than store bought) coffee cake, banana nut muffins, rice pud

(A Special RIP today to  Nelson Mandela). Thank you al so very much for reading my blog! Since I haven't received any special requests yet for topics I will talk today about inspiration and love. There's many things in life that can inspire something in each of us. For me personally I think a huge inspiration is words...song lyrics...poetry. I just find something so powerful in what you can say and how things can be put in such a way that can literally be said in different ways to persuade a reaction. Take that age old adage "you can get more with honey than with vinegar"... My cousin Pauline is one person that I always remember saying this lol. But truth be told is is exactly right. You can say the harshest of things but if your words are not malicious I think that it makes all of the difference.

Hello friends, first lets take a moment to say God bless the sweet souls of ones we have lost recently.....  Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I know it's been a while but I am once again able to be a stay at home mom and I have more time to update everyone on my day to day! I want to leave my mark somehow on this world and writing is one of my deepest passions. I feel with my entire being and it is easy to transform my own emotions as well as other peoples emotions into my writing, especially poetry.
