It was going to look a lot like Christmas!!. . . .

Hey everyone and thank you for joining me on my blog tonight. My post is kind of late because I was going to post about my Christmas tree, but. . . Here goes my story lol.

A few months back we bought this beautiful 7ft pre-it(which I usually hate) tree from this older couple and they were saying that they were getting rid of it because they were going for a real one this year..... HA! Well the joke was on us tonight because the entire bottom row was burned out. I was really looking forward to putting up our tree and Christmas decorations, and now I'm really bummed! My hubby and I usually put on Christmas music and decorate but I must say we are both a bit annoyed lmao, "well it was GOING to look a lot like Christmas."

On a lighter note my son and my niece Phaedra are playing and having a good time, we are having a sleep over and it is pretty eventful so far. They played games together, ate and angel got a bath and Phae took a shower. They watched some of a smurfs Christmas carol and nite nite time lol. What a crazy start to my day but Thank God I had a great day.

Getting the Swing of Things...

          Hey everyone!  Hope you are all doing well, thank you for catching up with me once again!  So basically, last blog post I informed you guys about the "organizer" spreadsheet I created.  It's meant to help keep myself up to date with all things house, kids, food, husband and myself related HAHA!  I also mentioned the two other resources I use for my chores list and Dinner planning.                   I must say I have been even more organized than I had even planned.  I was able to effortlessly have dinner ready when I wanted, the house stayed clean(for the most part considering I have a "make mess" programmed 2-year old), I was even able to add-in unplanned visits to the hospital for my grandma and my brother and aunt coming from out of town to stay at my parents as well.  I'd say for the first week this was a hit!           In all of our efforts as parents I feel that we sometimes skimp out on ourselves.  I cannot believe how much I just fluff

Love....happiness......or both?

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me tonight! I have questions on my mind and I'd love to get some feedback....  Life can be pretty tricky there are many choices we have to make and we pray the ones we make are the right ones... Am I right?  Well tonight I find myself in a battle of the minds.... During the holiday season we come to realize the importance of family and friends and even life itself, yet there are times you can still find there are people who cannot shake the woes if their own daily grind to be in the "Holiday Spirit".  Do we get mad at them? I mean how dare they try to bring us down...right? Do we ignore them and let them be miserable all by themselves? Well I don't know but I'd love to hear what you think!  I think in a situation like this I am going to have to take a moment and breathe deep and try to understand why people can be so down. The first of many. . .

Hey everyone and welcome to my blog where I will write about anything and everything that I can. I believe that I can change the world one WORD at a time but I've gotta start somewhere. Please do not expect perfect grammar or punctuation all of the time lol I just enjoy writing in the moment and just know I'll try my best. Today was a long day. It started off at work where I just was so tired but I knew I had a lot to do so there was no slacking lol. Then after I got out I went straight to pick up my son from my sister in law who literally saved the day by filling in last minute for the sitter(my mother in law) who is very sick. Mothers really don't get enough credit ya know! So before I forget GO HUG YOUR MOM AND TELL HER YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE HER!!! I say this because I truly live for my son and when I pick him up from the sitter he does NOT want me lol it breaks my heart but I know (or at least I tell myself) he just doesn't want the fun to end by leaving.  Anywa
